CUTLER BAY, Fla. (WSVN) — A South Florida woman can now breathe a sigh of relief after a swarm of bees that recently chose her home for their hive were removed.

For homeowner and local school teacher Michele Williams, the bees have been an everyday sight. “For three or four years I’ve been watching bees,” she said, “having a lot of fun watching bees, but they’re bees, and we shouldn’t be keeping them in the house. They don’t belong there. They don’t belong in your walls or in your fence, but it’s time to get rid of them. It’s time to find a new home for them.”
