Actress Renee Taylor , best known as the overbearing stereotypical Jewish mother to Fran Drescher on the television series "The Nanny" (1993-99), will star in "My Life On A Diet" Jan. 16-Feb. 9 at the Plaza Theatre in Manalapan .
