The South Miami native and self-proclaimed serial private school attendee — she’s an alum of St. Thomas Episcopal and Gulliver Prep — impressed judgeGwen Stefani during the blind auditions enough to stick around on the talent reality competition. The No Doubt singer liked Bukowski’s tone, calling it “unique, interesting and weird,” after the 20-year-old belted outCecilia and the Satellite by alt rocker AndrewMcMahon.
