Is Miami getting more serious about its art scene? A new non-profit association in the Florida city — probably best known in the art world for hosting Art Basel Miami Beach, which only stops in for a week each December — officially launches this week, working to bring attention to the galleries and dealers that work in south Florida year-round, according to the Miami Today News.
