Sneering punk-rock iconoclast Billy Idol has never quite left the spotlight, even if the hits he created 30 years ago have lost some of their luster. Idol, at 59, still cuts lock-up-your-children, outlaw persona onstage, as one concert review from the Guardian noted last November: “The singer was shockingly well preserved … Occasionally [Idol] flashed his torso, waggling his washboard with the enthusiasm of a hen-party stripogram angling for a hefty tip.” Saucy. So Idol will bring the hits (“Dancing With Myself,” “Rebel Yell,” “White Wedding”) and the stuff when he performs 8 p.m. Monday at Hard Rock Live (1 Seminole Way, Hollywood). $55-$75. 866-502-7529 or
