Houston’s Catholic community said goodbye to one of its finest on Monday. In a farewell mass held at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in downtown Houston on Monday, June 22, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston honored Bishop-elect Brendan Cahill who has been named by Pope Francis as the Bishop of the Diocese of Victoria.
