KEY BISCAYNE (CBSMiami) – Gov. Rick Scott was in Key Biscayne on Monday for the release of endangered turtles.

Crowds gathered at Bill Baggs State Park to watch three endangered loggerheads and one green sea turtle  head back home.

“Some of these guys have been with us for a couple of years and this is just a really happy day for all of us. To be able to show the fruits of your hard labor to actually pay off, to get to go off in the wild, it’s fabulous,” said Robert Rose, who is with the Miami Seaquarium
