Montreal playwright Colleen Curran has spun a play out of a theatrical disaster that  happened at the Coconut Grove in Miami, Florida in 1956. The American premiere of Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot, starring Bert Lahr, was billed as a knee-slapping comedy.  You can see the problem.
