The County of Marin is inviting everyone to a Silver Anniversary celebration of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a milestone piece of civil rights legislation that signified our nation’s commitment to eliminating discrimination against people with disabilities.
The celebration is co-hosted by the County of Marin Disability Access Program and the Marin Center for Independent Living. The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 23 in the Board of Supervisors Chambers of the Marin County Civic Center, 3501 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael.
