WWL-TV: Pitbull, Steven Tyler will be musical guests at Endymion 50th anniversary | Preps | The New Orleans Advocate — New Orleans, Louisiana

Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Pitbull will be the musical guests for the 50th anniversary of the Endymion parade and extravaganza, WWL-TV reported.

Endymion officials held a press conference Tuesday morning, where it was also announced that former Superdome general manager Doug Thornton will be the grand marshal for 2016. Thornton said that he was “absolutely stunned and overwhelmed” when he heard the news.

The Endymion parade and extravaganza will be on Feb. 6, 2016. A new super float called Club Endymion will appear at the end of the parade in honor of the Superdome.

Altogether, there will be about 3,100 riders in the parade.
