Miami-based Grass Roots America, which provided employee incentive and customer retention programs, has filed Chapter 7 citing $14.5 million in debt.
Founded in 1980 in Miami Beach, the company last operated out of One Biscayne Tower in downtown Miami, and had an office in Orlando. The bankruptcy petition was signed by Executive VP of Latin America Ruben Alberto Garcia Pinerez. Attorney Matthew Mazur, who represents the company in Chapter 7, couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
