The Miami Heat continued to get hit by a recent injury bug when guard Beno Udrih was ruled out of Sunday’s game against Oklahoma City.
Udrih was sidelined with a neck injury he sustained in Friday’s victory against theDenver Nuggets. There is no timetable for his return.
“He took a tumble on the floor,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. “He basically just finished that game with adrenaline. His neck is sore. It didn’t get a whole lot better.”
Udrih had been filling in for starter Goran Dragic, who is out indefinitely with a strained calf. With Udrih ailing, the Heat started second-year guard Tyler Johnson. The injury occurred when Udrih was in the middle of his best stretch with the Heat.
