CLASSY filly Alaskan Rose was kept up to the mark as her Thousand Guineas preparation continues with an eye-catching gallop on Friday morning.

She was clearly only there for the exercise and she strode home from the tail in a small field to finish a strong second behind a winner that was fully tested out.
