A Cincinnati-based country musician famous for “Mona Lisa Lost Her Smile” and “Longhaired Redneck” pleaded guilty to obstructing the Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Attorney’s office for the Southern District of Ohio announced Monday.
David Allan Coe pleaded guilty to one count of impeding and obstructing the due administration of the Internal Revenue laws. He faces a maximum of three years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
