In life, there are several ways to look at everything. I tend to look at the positive in everything. My story today should probably be labeled: Google Chrome, the best password Manager in the market.
I love Google Chrome. It’s fast, lean and mean. Most developers are focusing more in this platform than its rivals Safari, Internet Explorer, or Firefox. But did you know, in five steps you can access all of the passwords you have entered while surfing sites? To see this, go to settings in Chrome in advanced settings click manage saved passwords, under the Passwords and Forms box, click Managed Saved Passwords & you will see all your passwords in asterisk form. So far, we are all good, until we click on "Show Password".
This can be a nightmare for all users. If your computer gets stolen, or borrowed, you run the risk of being a victim of identity theft.
The solution is this; if you love Chrome, (like I do) make sure you password protect your system. Also, if you step away from your pc, lock the screen, make sure your screensaver kicks in at 3 minutes and is password protected as well.
