If you don’t know Tom Colicchio, you don’t watch much TV. He’s been the head judge on Bravo’s “Top Chef” since 2006. He’s also a food correspondent for MSNBC and an anti-hunger advocate whom the New York Times called “among the most vocal and widely recognized of the new political chefs.”
The several-hats-wearing Colicchio is, for sure, a celebrity chef, but he also happens to be a very fine cook. The James Beard Foundation named him the nation’s best in 2010, and he has eight restaurants and another 14 casual sandwich shops.
