1940s Havana-inspired bar and lounge in the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne
Channeling 1940s Havana, the newest addition to Miami’s burgeoning rum scene, RUMBAR, has opened inside the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne.
Set up in the middle of the hotel, the bar features Palmetto, high ceiling fans, and dark woods, along with a selection of 85 varieties of rums, piscos and cachacas to sip on. You can have your drinks straight or mixed into a classic cocktail like a mojitio or Hemingway.
To accompany your beverages a small bites menu is available with dishes like Tostones Rellenos with tuna tartar, garlic aioli on top of a Florida double-fried plantain; Ropa Vieja Slider with braised and pulled churrasco with pickled bell peppers; and Minuta de Pargo filled with beer battered Red Snapper, Cuban tartar sauce on sundried tomato bread.
Since it wouldn’t be a good Cuban lounge without live music, a seven-piece live band is on hand every Friday and Saturday evening playing Latin music and Latin pop so you can get your groove on.
