The developer of the AC Hotel by Marriott in Aventura obtained a $35 million construction loan.

Wells Fargo Bank awarded the mortgage to Norwich Aventura II, an affiliate of Sanibel-based Norwich Partners of Florida led by David Leatherwood. It acquired the 1.9-acre site at 20805 Biscayne Blvd. for $9.4 million in December 2014.
